International Ceramic Painting Workshop
A Cultural Surface Design Experience
Travel the world through ceramic art, one brushstroke at a time.
Join us for a 2-hour guided International Ceramic Painting Workshop led by multidisciplinary artist Yasemin “Nauti Mermaid” Doğurga. This immersive experience introduces you to global ceramic traditions while teaching professional underglaze painting techniques in an intimate studio setting.
This is not a typical paint night, it’s a refined, culturally inspired art experience.
What You’ll Experience
We begin with a brief visual introduction to iconic ceramic traditions from around the world, from Mediterranean and Ottoman-inspired motifs to European decorative patterns and oceanic surface design.
You’ll then:
• Select a globally inspired design
• Learn professional underglaze painting techniques
• Receive guided instruction throughout
• Create your own hand-painted ceramic salad plate
After the workshop, your plate will be clear-glazed and kiln-fired by our studio, making it fully food-safe and ready for pickup approximately 3 weeks later.
What’s Included
• One salad-size ceramic plate
• Professional underglaze materials
• Step-by-step artistic instruction
• Clear dip glazing
• Kiln firing
• A finished, food-safe ceramic piece
