Geared towards teaching all of our students the basis of hand-building and throwing. Our ongoing classes are to be considered an extended curriculum in hand-building or throwing. In regards to throwing, we start with the basics which include wedging clay, centering, coning, and starting with basic forms like cylinders/cups, bowls, and slowly progress to taller, wider, and shapely pieces.

Learning to throw is a process and we specialize in beginner or intermediate potters who want to hone in on the building blocks of throwing and perfect them.
